Christmas Shopping

What an exciting day, it is December 1st and I have to admit to being completely finished my Christmas Shopping List. I have never been finished this early, usually I am rushing to finish on Christmas Eve. It is a very great feeling to be all done, it was a combination of buying less and working with the budget. This will allow us to enjoy our December so much more not rushing around for Gifts.

Christmas countdown is on

We have been getting ready for Christmas for a few months, with 4 little ones it the house it is important for us to budget wisely in getting everything ready. The kids are getting really excited and we have been paying close attention to the things that they are interested in while out around the stores. We are in pretty good shape so far with only a few major items left to pick up.

Christmas Shopping Early

We made a decision to start shopping for Christmas presents early this year, we began by getting gifts for all the neices and nephews first and than began working on our own kids. It is great to have a head start on the shopping because it can get stressful if we leave it all to the last minute both time wise and money wise.

Well I said we were going shopping this morning to finish up our Christmas shopping...mission completed...it took all day instead of just the morning but we are done. It is terrible we all leave our shopping to the last minute isn't it. The stores we were in today had every checkout open and lined right up. At least we didn't run into any grinches which I thought we would everyone was very polite as they bumped into you, stole your parking space in the lot or ran over you with their shopping cart. I heard lot's of excuse me and I'm sorry instead of the expected hummph, sighs etc. It was very pleasant, I'm glad at this point the town hasn't lost it's Christmas cheer...let's hope it stays that way knocking on my desk right now!
