Cuddle Time

Kohl decided to have some cuddle time with Breigh the other night so after he got his pj's on he crawled up on her bed and had some cuddle time with her. They just laid there and had a nice relaxing time. It was very cute to see them having this special bonding time together. I look forward to watching them have many more times together as she is beginning to become more calm.

A new member of the family

We decided to adopt a new member into the family, with our pup turning 1 and her mother having a new batch of puppies it was time for us to add another member. We met "Riley" for the first time this weekend and instantly fell in love with this little guy. It will be a few weeks before we can take him home as he is still to young leave his mother. My puppy's all grown up

Today we took our puppy to the new vet for a check up and needles. She wasn't overly impressed with getting her nails cut but other than that she did really good. She now gets to go back in a couple of weeks for her "no baby" surgery. She might even get to spend some kennel time there when we take our trip to our daughters dance competition for a few days. They will take good care of her and get her a couple of walks a day.

Doggy Dilema

I can't believe what my dog(puppy) did this time, we were getting the kids tucked into bed and when we came down stairs our darling little princess had ripped the carpet up in our room and chewed the corner off it. We have carpet tiles in our room so she dug down and got one up. I figured out what was going on later as my son told me she had taken a treat down and hid it earlier and my wife found it and picked it up so chances are she was digging around to find her treat......errrr.

Bath time

We decided that our puppy needed a good bath so we (my wife) put her in the tub and suds here up. I was working on getting the kids to bed but heard my wife calling for me. She thought she might need some help getting her to stay in the tub. I ended up getting the camera instead and taking pictures of the princess being excellant in the tub while we got her all cleaned up and she smelled delicious, probably because we had to use the kids Strawberry shampoo to clean her up.

Puppy Days

We have our new puppy and she has done well with us during our vacation, we are looking forward to getting her home and working on here house training. She is doing well on the road and has only had a couple of accidents while we have been on vacation. It will be nice to have this behind us so we can get our house back in order as we have had to close off areas to ensure she doesn't have too much space to wonder around.

Our new Family Member

After a long deliberation we finally got our Puppy this weekend. My father had a Beagle and had a litter of pups so we decided to get one for the kids to have. Breigh came home with us and is having a great time and the kids love her, of course she is a lot of work right now with the house training and general puppy needs but she is a great pup and everyone loves her.

A new Puppy

We are awaiting the arrival of our puppy, a beagle we are going to name Bree ( or some version of that name). We are getting her from my Father, we are hoping she will be ready for July 1st when we travel through as it is 5 hours away and we won't be travelling back until August. It's exciting, almost like having a new baby as you have to go purchase all kinds of new things for the house. I hope all goes well and she will be home sooner than later.
