Ice Melt

I awoke this morning to a welcome site, much less snow and ice that what was around last night. I believe it rained most of the night and it really is fantastic to see much of the ice gone. It was warm all day today and is supposed to be like this tommorrow too. Spring is just a little ways away and I for one can't wait.

Finally a sunny day

Well when you go on vacation the last thing you want to see is rain but that is exactly what we got with over a week of rain it became hard to keep in the fun mode but we make it through and finally we got some sun today and took advantage. The day was completely filled with fun and finally we got the kids off to bed, it only took a couple of minutes to have them pass out.

Summer is here

It was a long winter and spring was nothing much to talk about. I can honestly say that yesterday and today have both been the most beautiful days yet. I spent the morning getting some renovations done and then it was off to work. There is nothing worse then heading off to work at noon on a beautiful sunny day and lots of things to keep me busy if I was home but I have to work, that 's life. Tomorrow is looking like rain but hopefully on Thursday my day off the sun and warm weather will return.

Last Day of My Vacation

I had a good week off but the weather wasn't nice at all and none of the outside work got done but this morning I woke up to the sun shining and the weather is suppose to be pretty nice today so I got started early on getting the outside door painted. I have a long list of things that I needed to get done this week that didn't get done so I will see what I can get done today. I have electrical work to be done sometime today before my FIL heads back home then I will take things from their. We sure had a busy weekend but it was a fun one. Tomorrow is suppose to be even warmer but I will be back to work. That is the way things go around here LOL
